A Property Owners Association (POA) includes a mix of property types: homes, lots, residents and business owners. Residents of our POA community pay annual dues that are used to pay for the community maintenance of amenities, common areas and upgrades.
2024 Dues are $450. They cover the period from 1/1/2024 - 12/31/2024. They are due in full no later than January 15, 2024. Monies received after the deadline will incur interest, at a rate of 12% per annum, as well as a 10% late payment penalty fee of $45.00. Payment can be made online (bank transfer) through the invoice emailed to each property owner or by check (made payable to Ashley Woods POA) and mailed to the POA.
Our park pavilion is available for our residents to reserve at no additional cost. Please check the Reservation Calendar for availability. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to fill out a reservation request.

The roads are maintained by the DOT. Any issues that you notice should be reported to the NCDOT. They have an online website form to report issues. If you prefer to call:1-877-DOT-4YOU (1-877-368-4968) weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While the DOT may get to our community eventually, the POA also works with our landscaping company to determine the appropriate steps for winter weather based on the severity of the weather forecast and our available budget. We will typically communicate if there are plans for winter weather road maintenance.
